I am new student member and would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to the group and ask for help in obtaining preceptorship in a primary care setting. My name is Krista, I have been an RN since 2011. I worked 5 years at Crozer on multiple units ending in the ICU before moving on to a Case Management UR role at UHS, Inc. I have been enrolled in Widener’s MSN-FNP on a part time basis and finishing up my last 2 didactic classes this semester before heading right into my first FNP clinical rotation this summer starting 5/9/22 through to 8/14/22. During this semester, I need to have a recorded 224 clinical hours that can be spread out between primary care, pediatrics and women’s health settings. I am looking for a NP, MD or DO in any of these setting willing to precept me. I live in Aston in Delaware County and am willing to travel around if needed. I can commit to 16-24 clinical hours a week as I am still working F/T as well. I am in the process of obtaining my DE RN license in hopes it will open up more clinical site opportunities. If you have any interest in precepting or know someone that might be, please let me know! I would be forever grateful! I understand this is a very challenging time for everyone and that precepting a newbie such as myself may not be easy but please know I am eager to learn from you and will try to the best of my ability to do the best possible job I can. My entire life I have struggled but that only made me stronger! I have always persevered, believed in myself and achieved my goals! If someone said I can’t, I prove to them I can! Strong-willed, compassionate and friendly gal here just looking for an opportunity! Thank you for your time and consideration!
