My name is Lisa Higginson and I have been a nurse for over 20 years with the last 19 years in pediatrics.  I have worked at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia since 2011 in the progressive care unit, pediatric intensive care unit and home health.  I am currently enrolled with Maryville University in the pediatric nurse practitioner program.  My spring 2021 clinical requires my hours to be completed in an adult setting.  The skills I would need to perform are adult/geriatric health histories, head-to-toe assessments and formulation of differential diagnoses.  Acceptable settings include the following:

• Primary Care
• Urgent Care/Retail Health
• Emergency Room
• Hospitalist
• Telehealth – limit is 40 hours
• Long term care

This rotation only requires 80 clinical hours and I am hoping there is someone available and willing to help me reach my goal of becoming a nurse practitioner and completing this first semester of clinical.
