Donations Needed!

Northwest Pennsylvania Nurse Practitioner Association (NPNPA) has been working with Erie United Methodist Alliance's Health Care for the Homeless Program to provide needed health care to our homeless populations at sites that are convenient to them. NPNPA have been at the overflow shelters at local churches and at the local Mental Health Association on Fridays (their headquarters are right in the area of town most of the homeless frequent). NPNPA is asking for your assistance. Please consider bringing any of the items below to the conference and drop them off at the designated table. Alternatively, consider donating online at If you donate online, please specify the Healthcare for the Homeless Program or bring your donation to the conference, and make checks payable to EUMA-Health Care of the Homeless. 

Suggested donations include:
Warm Gloves – Women & Men (NOT ONE SIZE FITS ALL)
Warm Ladies Socks (DON’T NEED MEN’S)
Cough Drops (Preferably small packages – not large economy size)
Neosporin and Cortisone Ointments (small tubes to give to clients)
Small tubes of Diabetic Lotion
Slippers with soles (i.e. Moccasins) Women & Men
Feminine Hygiene items (tampons and pads)
Bandage tape
Deodorant – Women & Men
Telfa Bandages – non stick
Epson salts
Memory Foam Insoles (These ones work the best. They can be found at Dollar Tree and you can buy individually or order a case of 24.)
Knee/ankle compression sleeves
Individual packaged Tylenol, ibuprofen and cough/cold meds
