PCNP plans to comment on two important items that potentially impact NPs. To do this, we need your help! Please read each item below, and please provide comments that will help PCNP formulate a response.
Thank you for your time.
CMS Direct Provider Contracting Models
PCNP is interested in commenting on the CMS Direct Provider Contracting Modelsdocument. We would greatly appreciate your input on specific categories. Comments are due no later than Wed. May 23 to allow Maria Battista, our new Director of Policy and Government Affairs, to review and prepare a response.
The specific categories we would like your input on are:
- Questions related to Provider/State Participation, particularly questions 1-4
- Questions related to Payment, particularly questions 0, 10, and 12
If you see questions in other categories you wish to comment on, please provide those also. Thank you for your assistance in the preparation of a comment from PCNP on this matter.
Please fill out the form no later than Wed. May 23.
OMHSAS Guidelines for Telehealth Behavioral Health Services Bulletin
PCNP is interested in commenting on the Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services Bulletin from the PA Department of Human Services. We are asking behavioral and mental health professionals for your input on the Draft Bulletin. Your input would be provided to Maria Battisa, Director of Policy and Government Affairs to draft a comment to the Department on behalf of PCNP.
Some questions to help you in our review are:
- Are the guidelines written in such a way that they are helpful to you as a nurse practitioner in this field?
- If no, please provide feedback on what suggestions you may have?
The Department is seeking input to help them draft guidelines that are useful and beneficial to both the Department and those who are required to follow the guidelines and reporting requirements.
Fill send your comments no later than Thursday, May 24.
Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
